The title of this work was inspired by Brianna Wiest’s The Mountain Is You, particularly a passage on transformation—about releasing what was created for who you once were, stepping beyond old comforts, and letting go of what keeps you stagnant so you can be loved, truly seen, and deeply understood for who you are becoming.

This piece is part of my 2025 Tulip Series for ArtPrize, proudly exhibited at Periwinkle Fog, located in the bright and welcoming atrium of the Ledyard Building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am truly honored to be included among a select group of just 10 talented female artists featured in this inspiring collection.
